Xbox-Forum is not responsible for any transactions, or any actions of it's members in this forum whatsoever!
Anyone choosing to conduct any sort of transaction with another member on XF does so at their own risk and expense.
As individuals, you need to take responsibility for your own actions, and you need to take responsibility for the fact you are dealing with strangers on the internet. Xbox-Forum is not a professional sales service and is provided free and without any kind of warranty. We also will not immediately ban people because you claim they ripped you off.
If you are ripped off, the only thing you are allowed to do on XF is to report it in the thread of the seller/buyer/trader once. Alternatively you can make a note in your signature stating your grievance with the user. What you cannot do is spam other XF forums with your complaints. Do not make threads complaining about transaction that have gone bad. If you are to do this, you will receive a warning. If it continues you will be temporarily disallowed to post, and if it still goes on you will be banned. Please contact staff with any serious issues.
Xbox-Forum does not recommend or endorse the use of the XF BST forums unless you are willing to take responsibility for your own actions and assume all risks. We do however recommend that people who wish to assume that risk should research the people they are dealing with, and alternatively search out and use professional sales forums. Always ask for a way to check for legitimacy.
Feel free to list your Xbox or Xbox item for Buy, Sell or Trade. Others can feel free to offer any number of legal items (under the XF rules of course) or cash in trade. What people cannot do is start new thread and offer non-xbox items. These threads will be locked and deleted.
Getestore and Similar “store” commissioned pre-made store type concepts will not be allowed. Any products offered for sale should be in direct possession by the seller. Any new post in any of the BST sales type forums on XF must list the products and merchandise in their entirety in the post on XF. XF sponsors are the only exception to this rule. The items listed in any sales thread or posted on XF must actually be in the possession of the person(s) listing it for sale or trade. Selling items for a 3rd party business via a commission based "Ready Made Internet Store" does not constitute owning the stock, and will result in a closure of the thread. We want members to be directly accountable for any actions/tractions they conduct on our site.
Please do not start threads asking "what can I get for 5$, 10$ etc" as staff will close them. If the action is repeated, consequences will come into action. When making a new post, either Offer to sell a product, or trade a product. If you want to buy something, go into an existing thread and make an offer on a product or service.
You are allowed to buy/sell/ trade Xbox Live accounts. We have a given system for this to prevent fraudulent transactions. If this system is not followed, the thread will be deleted and the seller will be warned.
XF will not delete threads on demand. You can request it be removed/made invisible but it will stay open for 30 days if you do so, allowing those you have serviced can comment, communicate, and / or complain or raise issues. We can make some requested edits of info you posted, however, we will keep it on file.

Hi, I read your post on "xbox-forum.com", and I would like to know if you guys can help me out. I have an Xbox 360 Arcade that had the E74 problem. I reflowed the cpu/gpu with an Aoyue 968 hot air rework station, and it started working. I then applied the "jtag" mod to this console and it worked great for about a month (I didn't do the x-clamp mod, and I left it with the the stock clamps). The E74 came back, so I reflowed the HANA..... the E74 went away, but now it shows a black screen with a green bar on the top exactly like this Image taken from this topic http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/360_blank_screen_green_bar-796772So I decided to reflow the gpu again just to be sure, and I did the "video reset -hold down the Y button and pull the right trigger" to get it to display over hdmi. It does the same black screen, but with a pink bar on the top instead of a green one. I personally think that I have reflowed this 360 too many times, and that I have put the solder in an even worse state. Is there any hope for a black screen with color bar? Thanks for reading.

Is there any hope for a black screen with color bar? Thanks for reading. Hi There It is hard to say, As mentioned its recommended that the X360 BGA do not exceed more then 3 reflows, This is because the chance of the chip internally failing due to heat exposure goes through the roof, We see this quite often because we deal with alot of units that customers decide to try fixing with heatguns ect. What eventually happens is the chip itself fails causing (in most cases) error 0020,21,22,23 RROD. I would suspect that the GPU is solely at fault, It is likely when you did the reflow on the HANA it was not the reflow that fixed it but rather the unwarping of the motherboard I presume you used a preheater of some sort simply taking the warp out of the motherboard can bring the console back to life. These failures that show no video, garble video, random colors ect are almost always very minor fractures under GPU which is why applying a xclamp replacement kit or baking motherboard will get them working temporarily. Considering there is something displaying on the screen (be it a small bar of color) i would be willing to bet the GPU is still ok but you would want to seek reball. Because of the reflows done to the board it is likely the GPU will not successfully lift from the board without failing, Even boards that are meticulously reflowed at exact proper heating profile often cannot be saved if reflowed multiple times, This is just how it is. It is possible to change GPU with a working GPU and get the unit working again, We do offer this but is quite expensive ($90CDN, $60 for the reball $30 for GPU chip) and depending on the circumstances you may just be better off finding a new console. You then have the problem of degradation of the pads on the motherboard, After many heating cycles the pads become very brittle and can easily lift from motherboard while attempting to lift GPU, If this happens there is no way to fix it short of finding a company that can repair and mount micro BGA pads and I can only imagine this is not cheap. Feel free to send us a email at support@boxxdr.com if you would like to hire us, You can see our prices in original post for reball. Cheers

Does you price include return shipping? Any idea what it would cost to mail 3 stripped boards (I'm in NB, Canada)? Thanks!

No our price does not include return shipping, Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. I cannot see it costing you more then $30 to ship to me from NB, Send me a email at support@boxxdr.com if you would like to proceed with getting reballs done. Cheers

Thank you. I am seriously considering this service, but I will wait and collect a few more boards before I send them in. (I have 3 now, and should be getting 4 RRODed consoles this week. I'm still trying to decide if a banned console with a bad laser is worth saving (might make my money back if I sell it locally).
