Forum rules

Xbox-Forum is not responsible for any transactions, or any actions of it's members in this forum whatsoever!

Anyone choosing to conduct any sort of transaction with another member on XF does so at their own risk and expense.

As individuals, you need to take responsibility for your own actions, and you need to take responsibility for the fact you are dealing with strangers on the internet. Xbox-Forum is not a professional sales service and is provided free and without any kind of warranty. We also will not immediately ban people because you claim they ripped you off.

If you are ripped off, the only thing you are allowed to do on XF is to report it in the thread of the seller/buyer/trader once. Alternatively you can make a note in your signature stating your grievance with the user. What you cannot do is spam other XF forums with your complaints. Do not make threads complaining about transaction that have gone bad. If you are to do this, you will receive a warning. If it continues you will be temporarily disallowed to post, and if it still goes on you will be banned. Please contact staff with any serious issues.

Xbox-Forum does not recommend or endorse the use of the XF BST forums unless you are willing to take responsibility for your own actions and assume all risks. We do however recommend that people who wish to assume that risk should research the people they are dealing with, and alternatively search out and use professional sales forums. Always ask for a way to check for legitimacy.

Feel free to list your Xbox or Xbox item for Buy, Sell or Trade. Others can feel free to offer any number of legal items (under the XF rules of course) or cash in trade. What people cannot do is start new thread and offer non-xbox items. These threads will be locked and deleted.

Getestore and Similar “store” commissioned pre-made store type concepts will not be allowed. Any products offered for sale should be in direct possession by the seller. Any new post in any of the BST sales type forums on XF must list the products and merchandise in their entirety in the post on XF. XF sponsors are the only exception to this rule. The items listed in any sales thread or posted on XF must actually be in the possession of the person(s) listing it for sale or trade. Selling items for a 3rd party business via a commission based "Ready Made Internet Store" does not constitute owning the stock, and will result in a closure of the thread. We want members to be directly accountable for any actions/tractions they conduct on our site.

Please do not start threads asking "what can I get for 5$, 10$ etc" as staff will close them. If the action is repeated, consequences will come into action. When making a new post, either Offer to sell a product, or trade a product. If you want to buy something, go into an existing thread and make an offer on a product or service.

You are allowed to buy/sell/ trade Xbox Live accounts. We have a given system for this to prevent fraudulent transactions. If this system is not followed, the thread will be deleted and the seller will be warned.

XF will not delete threads on demand. You can request it be removed/made invisible but it will stay open for 30 days if you do so, allowing those you have serviced can comment, communicate, and / or complain or raise issues. We can make some requested edits of info you posted, however, we will keep it on file.

to get your secondary error code,u turn on the console wait till it rrod, thn press the sync button(the one u sync the controller with)and hold the sync button the whole time, thn while holding the sync button press eject button the lights should flash(remember how many of the lights flashed)while your still holding the sync button press eject again(count the lights)while holding sync button press eject again(remember lights)while holding sync press eject one last time after all tht u should end up with a 4 digit code
for example u had 4,1,4,2 which would be a 0102 error, with out u giving us the secondary code theres not much we can tell u,as your problem could be numorus things. u will get more help at xbox experts as it are repair forum, this forum is for buy sell trade
4 flashing lights= 0
3 flashing lights= 3
2 flashing lights= 2
1 flashing light= 1

Most likely you will need a reflow, such as the oven reflow. USE FLUX!!!! This makes for a strong reflow. You may need to also do a Hybrid X Clamp mod to further prevent the RROD. To top it off, a 12v fan mod. I do this to almost all my XBOX's. You will get very good results most likely, like the guy before me said, overheating is not a good reflow. It doesnt work. Try this and you should be up and running in no time. :D :geek:

flux is not always needed, especially by people that dont know how to use it,

also, DO NOT INSTALL FAN MOD, they do nothing to extend the console life and if anything shorten it by taxing the voltage,

i dont do the 12 volt fan mod,i i use a pc fan in front of the cpu heat sink wired to the 12 volt spot underneath the power socket which on my jtag this improved temps by a good 6*C,now i also added a fresh air intake on the top of the case over the cpu heat sink area on my jtag which help by another 18-20*C,on my brothers 05 we added a fan to the bottom of the case(modifications to the chassis is required)and have that air blow directlly to the bottom of the under side of the mobo and his console runs 9-10 hours a day and is still using the stock xclamps and has never had rrod..i agrea with repair xbox, the 12 volt fan mod sux.

hmmmm i found this, and i want some input

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_does_your ... 60_say_e73

Please do NOT stop your fans in the manner described above. Also, don't do the towel trick. Even if you do manage to get a temporary fix using these methods, the heat generated inside the case does irrepairable damage to the components inside.

The proper way to fix E73 (secondary code 1021) is to reflow the southbridge chip. That's the one with the silver circle that says XBOX 360 and has XSB on it. Reflow the chip with a hot-air or infrared rework station. If that fails, you may have to get the southbridge reballed.

Reflowing the southbridge assumes that you didn't create the E73 by flashing the drive improperly. If it's a drive issue, obviously the reflow won't correct that. If you have E73 immediately after flashing the drive, you'll need to reflash the drive (correctly this time).
